In Monterey in California, she was the first to launch GIFFT Wines in partnership along with Scheid family Vineyards. In the last few months, she made her directorial debut for the short film THE GOD WHO SEE, which starred Nicole C. Mullen. They co-wrote all the music for the movie. Gifford is a supporter of many organizations for children like Childhelp as well as the Association to Benefit Children. The Cassidy's House and Cody House was named in honor of her children. Her efforts to help others in the field of labour relations have earned her an honorary doctorate from Marymount University.
